Meda Meedha Abbayi Review : One Selfie Changes His Life

Meda Meedha Abbayi starring Allari Naresh and Nikila Vimal in lead roles is directed by Prajith.G and produced by Bopanna Chandrasekhar. It is a remake of super hit Malayalam movie titled “Oru Vadakkan Selfie” starring Nivin Pauly and Manjima Mohan. Music and back ground score is rendered by Shaan Rehman and cinematography is handled by Unni Kumar. Let’s see if Prajith was successful in adapting the Malayalam version to Telugu Nativity.

Meda Meedha Abbayi movie revolves around the character played by Allari Naresh and how he comes out of an issue that he gets involved without his mistake. Allari Naresh is perfect in the role of a failure student and how he succeeds in resolving the issues of Nikila Vimal. Nikila Vimal is decent in the role of a girl who elopes to find her boy friend that she has never seen. Avasarala Srinivas is perfect in his role who reveals his real identity later. Hyper Aadhi excelled in his comic act.

Music and back ground score is good. Cinematography is in sync with the story telling. Editing and art work is ok. Production values are decent. Direction by Prajith is good and he must be commended for concentrating on the script without taking much cinematic liberties.

Pros:

·         Allari Naresh
·         Hyper Aadhi
·         Avasarala Srinivas
·         Direction
·         Comedy
·         Music and back ground score

 Cons:

·         This remake is weak when compared with the original version.
·         Editing could have been better.
·         Bit predictable.

Box-Office AnalysisOf all recent Allari Naresh movies, Meda Meedha Abbayi is definitely better. It has good comedy and decent story.
