Amidst huge expectations, Hello is finally in theatres. This romantic action thriller directed by Vikram Kumar has Akhil and Kalyani in the lead roles. Produced by Nagarjuna under Annapurna Studios banner, the movie has music composed by Anup Rubens.
Akhil is definitely the major attraction of the movie and he performed exteremely well. He looked more confident and did his role with ease. He shined in all emotions be it in action scenes, romance and family scenes. Kalyani makes a perfect debut with this movie in a role that perfectly fits her. She did well especially in emotional scenes. Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna as Akhil’s parents are impressive. The emotional scenes shown within the family worked quite well.
Action episodes in the movie are terrific and are composed in a thrilling way. The stunts looked realistic. Cinematography is excellent and needs a special mention. The action sequences are captured amazingly. Music by Anup Rubens is another major highlight of the movie. Both songs and background score are excellent. Editing is Good. Production values are at top notch.
Its needless to say that Vikram Kumar’s narration is excellent. Though the movie has a thin storyline, its the screenplay which is very engaging, straight and simple too made audience feel interesting. However, things got down a bit in the later half of the movie.
Overall, the movie can be said as a perfect re-launch of Akhil whose screen presence, stunts and dances are very impressive.
