MLA Review : Routine and Predictable!

A decade after working together, Kalyan Ram and Kajal came up with ‘MLA’.  This movie is a typical commercial entertainer and is directed by Upendra Madhav.

Kalyan Ram looked perfect for the role he played. He also looked handsome and fit. He performed well all through with ease and delivered the mass dialogues well. Kajal looked beautiful and has got important role in the movie though she has not got much scope to perform.

Director Upendra chose a old story which we have seen in many films already. The narration too is just Okay and has no freshness. Manisarma’s music added some value to the movie. Songs are good and shot well too. Background score is good. Editing is decent enough. Cinematography is impressive. Screenplay is not so engaging.

Few scenes worked out well with good emotions and message though the overall flow seemed routine and predictable. Songs are placed wrongly and are like speed bumps.

Overall, MLA has nothing new to offer and is yet another typical commercial telugu movie.

Pros:
Kalyan ram
Music
Comedy and Emotions here and there.

Cons:
Routine story and screenplay
Very Predictable
Bad placement of songs.

Rating : 2.75/5
