The suspense over Akhil Akkineni’s next movie director is expected to end very soon as per the sources. There were several names heard in the news and surprisingly no one from them is finalised. Puri Jagannath, Koratala Siva, Trivikram are among those names heard. However, a young director who tasted success recently is roped in, says sources.
Venky Atluri who made his directorial debut with ‘Tholi Prema’ is said to be finalised to direct Akhil. An official announcement is expected in a week and the movie will start its regular shoot in the second week of April.
Like ‘Tholi Prema’, this film is also said to be a romantic entertainer with good fun. The script work is getting its finishing touches. The other cast and crew details of the movie are expected to be revealed during its launch.
