Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s classic ‘Tholi Prema’ completes 20 years today. This movie which was released on 24th July 1998 is turning point in the career of Pawan. He has impressed with his style and expressions especially with his lovely smile in the movie and is considered to be the best of his career.
Karunakaran made his debut as director with this movie. Keerthy Reddy played the female lead and the introduction of the her in the movie is still considered the best even after 20 long years. Music by Deva is one of the highlights of the movie and was favourite for most of the teenagers then.
The movie went on to become a huge hit then and had run for more than 100 days in 21 centres and it ran more than 200 days in 2 centres. It also won 6 Nandi awards and National Award for Best Feature film in Telugu.
