‘Mental Madhilo‘, produced by Raj Kandukuri under ‘Dharmapatha Creations’ has finally hit the screens. After the huge success of ‘Pellichoopulu’, Raj Kandukuri once again made the film with all fresh talents. Amidst all the huge expectations, the film got good positive buzz even before its release from special premieres for media and film celebrities that the team has arranged.
Sree Vishnu played the lead role. His character ‘Aravind Krishna’ is designed very well and seems to be tailor-made for himself. He excelled with his performance as a guy who always gets confused when he has many choices. Its undoubtedly one of his best performances. Nivetha Pethuraj played the lead role and has given her best. Her expressions are so good and she carried the emotions perfectly with her girl next door looks. Sivaji Raja played the father of Sree Vishnu and did his part very well with his full length role which he got after many years. Amrutha Srinivasan played a crucial role in the movie which turns the story and is the major conflict. She did extremely well and very convincingly. Kireeti, Keshav, Anitha Choudary and others did their job well.
Vivek Athreya is the Director of the film who happened to make his debut with this movie. We never get a feel that he is a first-timer. Mental Madhilo is very well written and executed. It has very natural conversations, all the characters are very well designed with natural and relatable treatment. And comes the music of the movie composed by Prashanth R Vihari which is the biggest asset. The music is so soothing, soulful and fresh which further enhanced the emotions. All the songs are situational and are perfectly apt complimented by beautiful lyrics. Background score is excellent. Cinematography and Editing are good enough.
Raj Kandukuri needs to be appreciated for encouraging new talents always. Almost all the cast and crew are fresh talents. His commitment to make good films is clearly shown with ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and ‘Mental Madhilo’ is no less than that.
Overall, the movie is a clean, soulful and sensible entertainer. Go Watch it!
