Naga Shaurya’s latest outcome ‘Chalo’ has arrived in theatres finally. The trailer which was released has suggested a clean and funny entertainer. As so, it was. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the movie is produced by Usha malpuri.
Naga Shaurya did simple and natural performance without going over board. He looked handsome and stylish. He shined in comedy timing. Rashmika is the female lead and she did well too. She is well suited to her character and performed well with good expressions. Along with these leads, comedians too shined and provided good entertainment. Satya in the first half and Vennela Kishore in the second half impressed with their comedy and these are major highlights of the movie. Posani, Naresh, Raghu babu and others did their job well.
The Production Values are too good and the movie is shot in good locations. Cinematography is good. Music by Mahati is not so impressive in songs but shines in background score. Editing is decent.
Director Venky chose an old story which we have seen in many films but treated it differently with lots of comedy at regular intervals. The dialogues are impressive. The first half of the movie proceeds in a funny way and the director seems to have lost his grip in the second half a bit. And then enters Vennela Kishore who saved the movie with his excellent comedy timing. But then again, the climax disappoints with silly proceedings. The whole point of conflict in the movie which was revealed during the climax seemed weird.
Overall, Chalo remains to be a funny ride despite of few flaws and silly climax. It has many funny moments, good dialogues yet with a old story that we have seen in many movies before.
